This Blu-ray player has a trim body and an unique design with a large round power button in the middle of the fascia.  Two doors on either side of the button open to reveal the drive tray on the left side and a USB 2.0 port on the right side.  It is built with a glossy black front panel with a unique look.  The disc tray is not exposed.  A silver square dominates the front panel.  The disc tray hides behind a small automatic door on the left hand side.  The front panel controls aren’t obvious at first glance, because functions like Open/Close and Play are activated by pressing the corners of the silver rectangle in the middle of the unit, and Power is the silver circle in the center. The front controls take some time to figure out by just glancing at the unit.  The slightly hidden feature keeps the front panel looking sleek.

The BD370 is the entry-level replacement for the BD300, and it’s very similar, with the upgrades including an onboard decoding for DTS-HD Master Audio Essential and faster load times.  The user interface is similar in design to the BD300.  Using high-definition graphics and smart icons, it sports availability of all its functions from the initial boot-up screen. Like many of the entry-level Blu-ray players,  it has BD-Live capabilities, with a plethora of online content and growing every day.

The incredible DVD upscaling, Blu-ray movie image  quality, BD-Live connectivity and USB playback already make it worth every penny.    The   ability to connect to Netflix and YouTube makes this one of the best low priced Blu-ray players on the market.
